DR (TCM) CHU I-TA

朱奕达 博士

Chief Physician

Coming from a Traditional Chinese Medicine family lineage, Dr. Chu had the privilege of being immersed in the field from a young age. This early exposure sparked a profound and lifelong interest in the wisdom of TCM. Since graduating from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and returning to Singapore, he has dedicated himself to grassroots TCM community service, actively promoting TCM education and public health awareness across various organizations and institutions.

After obtaining his Doctorate from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, specialising in Integrative Medicine (Oncology), Dr. Chu further deepened his expertise in the field of integrative care. This specialized background has allowed him to collaborate closely with renowned specialists and physicians from major hospitals, providing comprehensive clinical solutions to manage patients’ symptoms and improve their quality of life.

Dr. Chu firmly believes that the integration or synergy of TCM and Western medicine represents the future of healthcare. He maintains that the core of integrative medicine lies in mastering modern medical knowledge and scientific validation methods while remaining rooted in the foundational principles of traditional medicine.

He advocates that the success of integrative treatment hinges on identifying the developing stage and timing of disease while respecting individual physiological differences. A truly holistic and personalised treatment plan can be formulated for every patient.
