DR (TCM) CLAIRE SHAO

邵永鑫 博士

SENIOR PHYSICIAN

Born in Taiwan, Dr Claire comes from a distinguished family of Chinese medical doctors. She graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and continued her clinical practice in China, building a strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

After relocating to Singapore, Dr Claire became actively involved in professional TCM education. She served as a lecturer at the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she teaches key modules including TCM Pharmacology and Herbal Formularies, mentoring students on their journey to becoming qualified TCM physicians.

Driven by her passion for natural healing and preventive health, Dr Claire strongly believes in the concept of “Food as Medicine.” She carefully guides patients in incorporating natural herbs into personalised dietary plans, and advocates that “a healthy body is a balanced body.” Her clinical focus centres on helping individuals achieve a harmonised body constitution and long-term wellness through practical daily health management.

With a doctorate in the Clinical Foundation of Chinese Medicine, Dr Claire further integrates Eastern and Western medical perspectives in managing endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroid nodules, and related disorders.

Beyond clinical work, Dr Claire is an invited TCM advisor and consultant to several food and health product companies. She also serves as a TCM trainer with Family Central by Fei Yue Community Services, and volunteers as a physician in the TCM Preventive Medicine Division (治未病组) at the Singapore Chung Hwa Medical Institution.
